Product introduction

Currently, with the sustained and rapid improvements in the processing power of CPU and storage capacities of hardware devices, many application developer systems did not fully utilize the computer systems’ improved processing capabilities, and in many cases, the operation of application software is manually carried out according to business process flow; or only a single work order is being processed, leading to underutilization of the current multi-CPU hardware system, which causes work delays when it comes to processing large amounts of data.

There is no need to modify the existing application softwares to fully utilize the hardware capacities. IPACS is one of the earliest company in China to develop multi-CPU, batch-processing, multi-platform control system, which is currently operating in IBM POWER (iSeries, pSeries, xSeries), HP and Sun, X86 server hardware platform; this fully utilize the high-performance and multi-tasking functions of multi-CPU systems; able to process large amounts of data across multi-processes simultaneously, and hence complete a task in a much shorter time as before.  The current product series is an outcome of after nearly 10 years of service optimization and upgrading, and is widely used in banks, securities registration and settlement, fund settlements, power industries and other industries that require large amount of data processing in a short time.

Product features

i-RTPP runs on IBM POWER, HP and other main stream x86 servers. It significantly improves applications’ multi-threads parallel data processing ability; fully utilizes the server’s hardware and software resources; and widely supports various main-stream open operating systems such as AIX, HP-Unix, Salories, iOS and various versions of Linux and database systems such as Oracle, DB2 and Sybase. By taking the advantage of the open features of the main-stream open operating systems and database software, Quick Pro has a relatively short implementation period and obvious economic benefits.

● Flexible job dependency relationship

Flexible job dependency configuration, which includes execution of subsequent operations on success, execution of subsequent operations on failure and ‘AND/OR’ logic relationship, enables jobs process flexibly during runtime.

● Real time monitoring

Job running status can be monitored real time on the client computer; questionable jobs are reflected in a timely manner for immediate troubleshooting. The monitoring module also provides functions such as statistics and sequential relationship query.

● Job operation cycle control

By defining job operation cycle, jobs can be scheduled to run every day or at the end of every month. Cycle definition is content-rich and can be expanded as needed. Predefined Cycle parameters such as Daily, weekly, every ten days, monthly, quarterly, every six months and yearly are supported currently and the execution time can be appoint at the beginning or the end of the designated cycle period or at a special date.

● Exception handling

System can be halted through force close function on exceptions. When node processing job throws an exception, system can save precious time by restart the very job node and its succeeding job without restarting the whole system.
